The best of both – a new studio and woodland photoshoot package combined
This new package is what I like to call a blended session taking place in my studio and outside in my local woods.
My home studio is very close to a small wood, I love my studio session and I adore photographing families outside too. This package is a mixture of both settings.
I know that parents like the idea of the studio but also like the freedom of a woodland session, especially those with active toddlers and children on the go.
You no longer have to make a choice – with this great package, you get the studio backdrop and the fresh outdoors.
Information – how it works
Length – around 60/70 minutes
The amount of time spent in the studio and the woods will be individual for each family, for example;
- For a family with a toddler and 8-month-old who cannot walk yet – more time will be spent in the studio and around 20 minutes outside
- A family with all children walking and active – most likely 15 minutes in the studio & the rest outside.
We can make the decision on the day how best to split the session. depending on how the children are feeling and what the weather is like, we can arrange the session in the best way for your family.
We will always start off in the studio, there will be time for outfit changes, to wrap up warm and to pop to the toilet before setting off outside.
FAQs
The woods are only a 1-minute walk along a path from my home studio (no need to drive there)
The woods itself is not paved but a robust pushchair will be fine it can get muddy
The woods are enclosed and not near any busy roads, so children can run around safely
Only for immediate families, no extended family members
Dogs are welcome to the woodland part.
We would reschedule if there was heavy rain, a bit of drizzle is fine – bring the wellies and umbrellas!
