Newborn Photographer Norwich: Timeless, Natural, Authentic.

Capture those precious early days with a newborn photography session

I’m a well established and highly regarded newborn photographer and my style is pure, simple and timeless.

If you love neutral and organic tones and wish to see your baby snug and safe, every detail captured with a relaxed and unhurried approached, then welcome!

Natural, Beautiful Baby Photos

I really believe simplicity is key in remembering little newborn babies as they were, with their little flaky feet, ickle milk spots and curled up hands. All these details you soon forget in the whirlwind of parenthood.

I use handmade quality wraps, rompers and the softest backgrounds. I don’t use props, but I love it when parents bring special keepsakes like a knitted teddy or blanket.

Mainly your photoshoot will be just your beautiful baby – no distractions.

Nearly Newborn Mini Package

This photography package is for older newborn babies (3-12 weeks). It is the perfect option if you missed booking in those first few weeks, but would like simple images of your baby and family images too.  Unlike the newborn sessions, this package is focused on awake images. This is the time that babies really start to enjoy their awake time and start smiling.

If your baby is sleepy then that’s great as we will be able to take a few sleepy images, but this is a short and sweet session of up to one hour of studio time. This package is an ideal opportunity to take sibling and family images. Plus there will be 2 simple setups on the beanbag and flokati rug.

Babies start to ‘uncurl’ a week or so after birth and become more aware of their surroundings, so at 4-12 weeks old the images will not be very posed. This is because it is unlikely that baby will be asleep and fall naturally into the typical poses that I can do with little newborns. However, that does mean we get some cracking ‘awake’ images as your baby’s little personality will start to shine through and we get some smiles!  If, for any reason your baby is very unsettled, I can reschedule photoshoots for 4 months onwards.

Remember that I also offer products such as mounted prints, albums and luxury wall art to showcase your images.

How to Book

Select the package you prefer below and you will be taken to a contact form where you can send me your details. We will then speak at a later date to arrange a time for your shoot and I can answer any questions that you may have. A £75 deposit is payable at the time of booking.

Once you have booked your session, I will send you a guide about what to expect, what to bring and my full address.

What you need to know about your newborn photographer

Where are you based?

I have a small, cosy studio in Norwich, Norfolk (Sprowston NR7). Parents can come in, sit back and relax whilst I work carefully with their baby.

What qualifications do you have as a newborn photographer?

I have trained with two of the UK’s leading newborn photographers and I’m a PRO member of the British Association of Newborn Photographers. I love to train regularly to enhance my skills and boost the experience and knowledge I have gained over the years as a photographer.

Can I order more pictures than the package includes?

Can I order more pictures than the package includes?

Yes! You have the option to add more images and products once you have viewed your baby photo gallery.

When can we do the photoshoot?

Newborn shoots take place on weekdays, but special arrangements for school-aged siblings can occasionally be made for after school and weekends.

Why does a newborn shoot take 2-3 hours?

I do not rush. It can take time to take photos of a baby, especially if there are siblings present and to then settle a baby into a deep sleep. The time will whizz by once we add in blanket changes, feeds and nappy changes! I tend to find that my sessions hardly ever take longer than 2.5 hours, but I ask parents to allow plenty of time. To get the little hands uncurled and babies moved into position takes time and patience of which I have acquired plenty of over the past 7 years.

I just want to say a huge thank you! We are so happy with all our photos! Absolutely love them and cannot wait to show all of the family!!

Jess created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Mollie was so relaxed she slept through the whole thing!!

Would definitely not hesitate to use Jess again – a great newborn photographer we highly recommend her!”
