What you need to know about your newborn photographer

Where are you based?

I have a small, cosy studio in Norwich, Norfolk (Sprowston NR7). Parents can come in, sit back and relax whilst I work carefully with their baby. Woodland shoots are local to me NR7.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of easy parking beside my house.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I can take bookings up to about 4 months in advance. I tend to get booked up to 4 weeks ahead, sometimes longer. However, I do get cancellations and spaces as and when babies are late or early. Please contact me in case I have last-minute availability.

How do I book?

Please contact me via the contact form or email me at info@jesswilkinsphotography.co.uk. I will then send you the relevant information & my online booking calendar with the booking form and payment details.

When days do you work?

From 2026, I’ll be working Tuesday to Friday 9-3pm , with a selection of after-school, evening, and school holiday availability (perfect for woodland and family shoots). At the moment, weekend sessions are not available.

What is your pricing?

My pricing is upfront and available on each gallery page.

How do I select my images before deciding which ones?

For clients who don’t choose an “all images” package, I’ll provide a set of lightly edited proofs for you to view rather than fully retouching every single image. This allows me to share your gallery sooner.

Once you’ve chosen your favourites, those selected images will then be fully edited to my usual high professional standard. And if you decide to upgrade and choose additional images, they will all be beautifully finished too.

Do you photoshop / edit all your images

Yes. My editing style is natural and timeless, keeping babies and families looking like themselves. I’ll remove temporary marks such as spots, scratches, or blemishes, but I don’t carry out extensive editing (for example, changing hairstyles, altering body shape, or digital makeovers).

How do you deliver the images?

You will be sent password protected gallery with a PIN to download your images to save.

And when will they be ready?

Approx 2-3 weeks after the session.

What qualifications do you have as a newborn photographer?

I have trained with three of the UK’s leading newborn photographers and I’m a member of the British Association of Newborn Photographers. I love to train regularly to enhance my skills and boost the experience and knowledge I have gained over the 14 years as a photographer. I’m fully insured.

What other shoots do you offer?

I also offer cake smashes and birthday shoots, baby and family shoots for non-walking babies in the studio. Woodland walk session and studio and woodland combined.
