Frequently asked questions:

How far in advance do I need to book?

The earlier the better, I can take bookings up to 6 months in advance.  I tend to get booked up to 4-6 weeks ahead, sometimes even longer. However, I do get cancellations, so please contact me in case I have last-minute availability.

How do I book?

My price list has information about all the packages I offer. Please contact me via the contact form or email me at I will then send you more information and answer any questions that you may have. I will also send my online booking calendar with the booking form and payment details. The information sent will include my address, what to wear and what to bring.

Do I need to pay a booking fee?

Yes. You can pay for the package in full, or opt to pay a £75 deposit to secure the slot and package. Once this is paid, your date and time is secure, I will then send you the information as spoken about above.

How long do sessions take?

I do not clock watch. I take my time, but I find that most sessions last 1 hour and newborn sessions can last 2-2.5 hours.

What is your pricing?

My pricing is upfront and available here. I offer packages only with the option to add on prints and products. Packages start from  £200 and £275 for newborn shoots and I find on average that clients spend £275-£400.

Where are you based and do you travel?

All sessions take place at my home studio is based in Sprowston, Norwich (NR7). I am currently not offering outdoor shoots.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of free off road parking beside my house.’

What hours do you work and do you work weekends?

I do ot work weekends currently. I work weekdays across 2- 3 days. I occasionally hold mini shoots at weekends e.g Christmas, Mummy and Me mini shoots. Due to the volume of enquiries, I do my best to respond to you within 48 hours.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured. I am also a member of the British Association of Newborn Photographers. I have attained PRO LEVEL membership – my work has been assessed by a panel of judges who are all highly experienced and well regarded baby photographers themselves. I am also trained in newborn posing paediatric first aid.’

What if my baby or child ‘doesn’t behave?

Before the session you will receive an information sheet and in this, you will see that I say the best thing is not to worry!  I do not want children to perform as this will result in staged photos. My approach is laid back and relaxed. I have two children of my own and I know from experience that letting them get to know me is the best approach and not rush in. We can stop anytime for drinks, snacks or nappy changes. If for any reason they are really not feeling up to it, or are ill then we can rebook. This may mean waiting a little while longer, but it ensures that you will receive portraits to treasure.

How do I receive my images?

Within 5-10 working days after your shoot you will receive a password-protected gallery link. This is valid for 7 days.
