Wow the time really does fly when you have a baby!

Since my last blog, Sol has grown so much into a proper little boy.

We have been really enjoying getting out and about, the class that we have found is our favourite it’s called baby bubbles , we started off by doing baby massage here and now we go most weeks to the weekly themed sessions, Sol loves all the lights and bubbles!

Sol has now mastered the rolling over onto his front stage but is still unable to roll himself back and gets so frustrated doing so which means its a constant flipping him over stage!

He is now also trying to shuffle, I can tell he is very determined especially when he sees his big brother running about.

We have been trying out some weaning which Sol is also loving , his favourite food is my homemade Cauliflower and carrot puree! But it is definitely a messy job especially when we gave him broccoli to try but it just ended up all over the walls!

The mixture of happiness and grief has been heavy with a lot of reflecting of what would our Sonny be up to right now if he were Sol’s age and would they be similar but we feel so incredibly lucky to have been given another chance.

We have been on 2 caravan holidays with Sol which has been fun with his first swim and first-time meeting characters which he did love.

Sol has also had his first ever time camping at 6 months old which was a very wet weekend but he took it like a champ and really seemed to enjoy the chaos of all the other children around which led to him sleeping almost better than at home!
